Shallow breaths passed her lips in bitter fear as she moved along the marble flooring. With each step she could feel the cold that shook slowly up her skin before reaching her chest. She shook for a moment to get rid of the feeling but her effort was worthless as she danced slowly along the grounds towards the fireplace that branched wildly in flames. And for a moment she couldn't really understand if it was reality or truly her mental state playing with her again. Her body leaned against the wall as she cried out. Slowly dropping to the floor as tears started to fall again. The scars of lacking in sleep appeared in her eyes and paling in her skin. Her nails dug deep into the skin of her arms as she tried to understand why what haunted her was destorying her.
"Leave me alone!" She screamed out at the top of her lungs but all she could hear now was the crackling sparks that the flames breathed out in the wintering hours. Her eyes searched for some sort of hint to any noise but nothing followed but the crackling pops. Her own sobs slowly comforted her insane state of mind as she closed her eyes and placed her head downwards into her knees. Her head shot up from the loud THUD that echoed somewhere deep within her house and shook from one side to the other.
"No...no...no." She let out crying again as her hands covered her ears. How much more longer before the noise reached downstair. How long could her mind and heart take another night of the ability not to sleep. She nearly screamed but nothing left her lips as she trembled. They had told her that moving into this house was the worse idea yet. But she ignored them and the consquences were frighting. She moved back towards one of the stands that rested up against her back. "Please." She let out nearly crying. The plead was needy and tired. Those words alone seemed to show the exhaustion she held for being in this world. "Don't...." She cried out with another shake of her head. Tears streamed from those dark green eyes that lay wrapped in red. Black eyeliner stained her pretty pale face as she looked distraught for a moment. Wavy black locks brushed around her features and seemed to cause her eyes to stand out. But for the time being, her looks were corrupted by whatever controlled her house.
She was tired and depleted from whatever lay within her house. It showed in her actions as she lingered alone in the corner of the room. Her arms wrapped around her legs as she breathed in slowly to control her fear. Her eyes closed tightly and her head was buried in her knees again as she screamed out when another thud followed. "Please..." She cried out. "Leave me be." She screamed out as her head flew back. Her breath heavy from the wild sobs that passed her lips. The noise seemed to stop before another thud came. She could hear it draw closer and closer. Her heart raced wildly as her small delicate hands pulled at the sleeves of her baggy blue sweat shirt. Scratches appeared wrapping around her arms along with the blackening bruises that had been caused the night before.
She couldn't find the strength in her to fight anymore. She couldn't even find the strength to leave this wretched house that haunted her. She moved slowly towards another part of the room. She rose slowly as she used the wall to be her guidence towards the next space she looked to occupy. Finally coming to settle again next to the fire place that she had only started hours earlier started. She kneeled down slowly as her body rested against the colum framing. Her hands fighting to gain some control but again she grasped at nothing more then just pure fear in general.
Another scream passed her lips as her head shot up to the thud that came from the next room. Her body seemed to push up against the wall as she held her breath. She waited and prepared herself for things to start flying. She waited for the violence that would soon rip her house apart. She was as frighten as a child in the darkness. She closed her eyes before she found some ray of hope that caused her to stand and dash for the door. Her body moving quickly as her converse squeeked along the floor she ran upon.
